There are a plethora of different things needed for the summer. I find that in the summer months naturally I am invited to more pool/beach parties or activities that involve me being by some type of water.
Me being from Detroit, water activities are kind of foreign to me. So I do not have many water-friendly items of clothing or accessories. With that being said, if you anything like me, you may also need to get some essentials to be ready for all the Beach/Pool parties this season.

Of course, you need things like sunscreen, maybe a beach towel, a cooler, etc. However, since this is a fashion blog, I am sharing the fashion items and accessories needed for fun in the Sun. If you are out in the sun for hours and hours baking, you need something to protect your eyes. Here are some cute stunna shades that are perfect for Summer!

Swimwear
If you going to the Beach/Pool, you need a swimsuit! There are plenty of different colors and styles to choose from. I stuck with black in 4 different styles as some stylish examples.
Sundress/Maxi Dress
A Sundress/Maxi dress is one of the main Summer Essentials you need in your closet! It’s perfect to wear to and from the Beach and something that is very low maintenance.

Lastly, you need a good Tote bag to take with you to the Beach/Pool to carry your other essentials in.
