Bold prints are always in Fashion! I personally am not a big fan of prints like florals and leaves on clothing. However, I can appreciate it from afar when others wear it and wear it well!
If you look at fashion magazines, many of the cover girls are wearing beautiful bold prints on the cover and also in their spreads in the magazine. How do you wear bold prints, however? I have some ideas and styled some ideas that reflect them.
The reason I have not been much of a fan of florals, especially for women, is I feel like sometimes it ages them. I see young girls wearing florals and they look like they are librarians at an elementary school.
Not that being a librarian is bad, but looking older than you really are is. You can wear prints and be sexy! Fashion magazines show you many different ways to do this.
Also, when wearing prints, you should also be aware of your body shape. Some prints may be too overwhelming for your shape and not be very flattering. Keeping your body shape in mind always applies in fashion, but you really have to be careful in regards to patterns.
That should not scare you from having fun with patterns though. Fashion is fun, so when picking out pieces with patterns, be bold! You should embrace color as well when picking out patterns. Me personally, color is visual eye candy and when paired right, it is absolutely beautiful!
In the end, have fun with patterns! How do you wear bold prints? Any way that fits your style personality and that is fun for you. It’s not something that needs to be to overthought however, you want to be cognizant of how you piece patterns together.
