With all the options of handbags these days, deciding on the right one can be very difficult. I previously posted some must-have handbags here, but you can never talk to much about handbags! Handbags are the cherry on top to any outfit!
So what types of handbags should a gal have in here closet. Well, that would depend on you and your wardrobe primarily. One thing is, seasonality does matter with bags, so you’re more than likely not wearing the same bags you would in the Spring/Summer that you would in the Fall/Winter.
Also, diversity in bag styles and colors is good when it comes to thinking about bags. I say that but some people only like one style of bags, but even still, that can be diversified.
How exactly, well by colors, patterns, and material which I share a lot of these differences below. You also want to make sure you have bags for different events you may attend. For example…
- A bag for the club
- A bag for the Beach
- A bag to run errands
- A bag for festivals
- An evening bag
- A formal clutch bag
- A work/day bag
These are just examples of several you want to consider when choosing handbags. Of course, you would only get bags that apply to what you may need them for, but I will say its good to stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. Check out some standouts!
A little color…
I love a little color every now and then! You can wear bright colors in year round and not get read by the Fashion Police, lol! So some of your bags from the Spring/Summer may be able to stay out all year!
Earth tones never hurt…
Neutrals are always good in earth tones because they can go with many different things. Having at least one earth-toned neutral bag is a good investment to have. I would personally spend a little more on an earth-toned bag because it can last forever.
It does matter if it’s black or white…
I have said it before and I will say it again, black and white is always a go! You really cannot go wrong with this color combo! This is the other way of doing neutrals. My preferred way, but that’ not important, lol! Having one black and white bag in your arsenal is a good investment if you ask me because they can go with everything.
A staple animal print bag is a must-have…
Everyone may not agree, but you should add an animal print bag to your arsenal. An animal print bag can elevate a look from drab to fab. Wouldn’t one of these look nice in your closet?
A little gray is ok……
There is something about gray that looks so classy and chic! Its a regal color to me personally. My house is full of it, lol! Having one of these color bags in your closet would not hurt because, this is another color that can elevate your look!
This would conclude my suggestions for the bags that every woman should have. I focused on colors mostly because bag style preferences vary, so get whichever style that works, just keep in mind events you could wear the bags to and colors. All in all, have fun with it!
