Pajama outfits in public is now a thing in Fashion. Is it bad to go out in Pajamas? Either way, there is a right and wrong way to do this. My issue is with people who wear pajamas or loungewear in a public place.
I understand that sometimes you need to run a quick errand and you may just not feel like putting on clothes to do so. But just walking out the house with your Hello Kitty or Family Guy pants is just not the thing to do.
I work a part-time job where people do this very often. Seeing these people from a distance is one thing, but when I get up close is a whole nother situation. Hygiene is another issue with people in general, but the pajamas-wearing folks, I notice this often.
Not saying that everyone who does this has an odor, but I run into a lot that does. I just think going in public like this is not good personally because you never know what could happen while you are in public. It also just gives me the impression that you just do not care about your appearance.
Maybe you don’t, and if that is you, I suppose this blog would not be something you care about. However, appearance in public does matter whether you acknowledge it or not.
I am not writing this blog to dog anybody out. I am really writing this to educate on how pajamas or loungewear can be worn in public. Designers are now starting to make everyday pajama-style clothing that can be worn in public or you may be able to get away with wearing real pajamas out but it’s all about how you style them.
So I am going to share some looks with you that can be worn out in public from some stores like Net-A-Porter, Neiman Marcus and a couple of other retailers for inspiration. This is not a trend I am a fan of but I also do not like seeing Hello Kitty and Family Guy pajama outfits in public, so if you are going to do it, try to do it with style. Check out some looks below!
