You also may want to consider before your night out where you are going. If you are doing something active, you may not want to wear a dress or a skirt.
I would assume if this is your first or second time being out with this person, you don’t want to show all of your goodies by accident. Dressing for the current weather conditions should be one of the essential considerations of getting dressed for a date.
By the same token, you can look stunning on your first date, either at a basketball game or a 5-star restaurant. Not to mention you can achieve an eye-pleasing look without showing to much skin and dressing in trendy pieces.
If it were me on a first date, I would want my companion of the night to like my look but be more focused on my conversation. Wearing pieces that are distracting or putting your goodies on a platter, can give off the wrong impression.
