Gone are the days of boring dull colors for Fall. One popular color for the Fall is Mustard Yellow. If you happen to see any fall/winter fashion shows, you see this color sprinkled all of the runways in those shows.
I am personally excited to see this. Fall has never really been a favorite season for me. It’s the pre-game to winter! Being from Detroit, Michigan, winter is not something I or many of us Michiganders get geeked about.
With this in mind, Fall/Winter fashion I was not always a fan of either. It seems like just like Winter, the fashion can get cold and dull looking. However, it appears that now the tide has turned in the fashion world and maybe even environmentally due to global warming.
Fall/Winter colors in Fashion are brighter in the past couple of years. Also, a lot of the old fashion rules have been deaded and you can wear a lot more now.
In this case, Mustard Yellow is not a color that I would normally say I remember seeing a lot of in the Fall/Winter. It’s not that bright of color but still is not as dull as the usual. Yellow, in general, is a color that can be worn in many different ways.
You can wear it as an accessory, shirt, dress, and shorts, etc. I am not seeing that retailers are coming out with a lot of yellows however when I went to look for looks. Maybe there is a delay or they didn’t get the memo that is a hot color for Fall. Not possible, but it appears that way.
Given these points, I, of course, had to put together some looks for you Royals out there for some inspiration to add one of this season’s hottest fall colors to your wardrobe.

Working Girl
This look is perfect for work and transitions over perfectly to a night look. The Mustard Yellow blazer is everything and is very on-trend at the moment. There is a lot of Yellow in this look but its not overbearing and the color in the pant which is the superstar of the look helps to break up all the yellow.
Sunday Funday
This look is perfect for Sunday Funday! The plaid skirt is giving utility vibes with a twist. Paired with the navy blouse, it makes it the perfect look to make a statement without overdoing it.
Just Hanging Out
This is the perfect look to just run errands in or maybe hang out with your girlfriends. I added the chocker to add some visual interest to your neck area since it will be exposed. I am all about a cute look from head to toe.
Fly Girl
Only a real fly chic can pull this off! I like this look for a concert or maybe a comedy show with dinner afterward.
Classy With A Touch of Edge
There is a lot of patterns going on here, but this mix works for me! This is another event worthy look, maybe like a hair show like the Bronner Bros. I love red and yellow together!
Too Cool For School
This is the perfect look for date night! It’s a little “busy” but I love how the sweater and the pant play off of each other. The earrings are the cherry on top. This one here is a winner!
Showstopping
This look is giving me Michelle Obama realness! This is perfect for dinner event or maybe a look at a party. It would be more of an upscale party though. Many heads will turn with this one here!
